Dr Isabelle Sarfati is aplastic surgeon, specialising in breast surgery and facial cosmetic surgery.
She graduated in both general surgery and in plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.
After completing her surgical training in in Paris (former Intern and former Head of the Clinique des Hôpitaux de Paris) and in the United States, she was assistant to Dr. Paul Tessier, one of the world leaders in plastic surgery during the 1980s. A long period of collaboration with Dr Krishna CLOUGH (then Head of department at the Curie Institute) led to a desire to create a structure combining public and private health care: a place where high quality medicine, teaching and research could coexist with consultation, care and reassurance. This project led to the foundation of the PARIS BREAST CENTRE in 2004.
Dr Sarfati participates in the development of innovative techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. In particular, she is one of the pioneers in the use of filling techniques (fat graft and hyaluronic acid) in breast surgery.
She is a member of SOFCEP, the French Society of Plastic Surgeons and of the French Society of Senology.
She teaches at the European School of Surgery and participates in training students of the Inter-University Degree in Senological, Oncological and Restorative Surgical Techniques.
